6/1 White Hybrid Iris

It's iris time around here.

6/2 The Two Sewers

TWo wonderful ladies in my life. A mother daughter team of unbelievable sewers, who have been making lots of masks this firs COVD season. They are good substantial masks too.

For our enclosed porch. Much brighter than the old one.

Used 19 mm extension tube on camera with kit Samsung lens.

6/3 Fragrant Lilac

It's a very pale off white color with strong fragrance. Along our evening walk with Dixie.

6/5 Large Purple Iris

It's a new one in our front flower bed.

6/5 Tarring Cracks

Interesting machine--three functions all in the same head. Blows the dirt out of the cracks, then lays in some tar, and finnally some fine stone to fill it in.

Irises in bloom everywhere. All are beautifull.

Always such great hope for a good crop in the spring, but lots of competition from the brids, squirrels and deer who all want a bite of them.

6/10 Downed Branches in Cemetery

Big windstorm yesterday late afternoon. We didn't get it near as bad as some places that lost many huge old trees.

Beautiful tree with these huge whitish blossoms--some years just covering the tree.

6/17 Egyptian Onions

Sometime called Traveling Onions, because the bulbs that form at the tip of the stalk like these, get so heavy, the stem bends over and touches the ground, where if left, will take root--usuall 18-24 inches away from the original plant.

6/18 Front Window View Through Lens Ball

Am having fun with this new "toy, " a Lensball. An like any lens the image is upside down, but I've rotated the image right side up.
